Horizontal axis balancing machines from 300 to 8000 kg

CEMB horizontal axis balancing machines are designed for balancing rotors weighing up to 8000 kg. They are suitable for demanding industrial applications, including generator sets, power turbines, aerospace, oil and gas, paper mill rollers, shredders, augers, and train wheel assembly balancers.

Features

Specifications of CEMB horizontal axis balancing machines:

  • Absolute accuracy in unbalance detection that ensures maximum reliability in balancing processes.
  • Fast and easy machine setup: quick type change, reducing downtime and increasing productivity.
  • Clear and intuitive user interface: the operator does not interpret but sets parameters directly, minimizing errors and learning time.
  • Drive modes: coupled for maximum torque transferable to the rotator, belt-driven for maximum versatility, or combined for all variables.
  • Modular configuration to suit each specific case.
  • High-speed version for balancing flexible rotaries at operating speed.

Main applications:

  • Rotors for generating sets and power plants.
  • Steam turbines, aerospace, and oil & gas components.
  • Industrial fans and large blowers.
  • Transmission organs for heavy-duty applications.
  • Industrial rollers for paper mills and papermaking processes.
  • Train wheel assembly
  • Stalk shredder and branch shredder for agriculture.
  • Augers and drums of oil, construction, and industrial separators.
  • Long shafts and components with a high length-to-diameter ratio.

      Additional equipment

      • Inverted roller equipment: constructed so that the rollers work above the rolling diameter, suitable for rotors with impellers unbalanced with respect to the shaft.
      • Cantilever fixtures: rollers mounted on spacers that allow parts without shafts, with very short shafts or large diameter tubes to be balanced.
      • V-equipment: used in specific cases where the workpiece is balanced using service bearings or to process very small diameters.
      • Flanged equipment: typically used to process drive shafts
      • Non-magnetic equipment: useful where the part is magnetic (example: electric motor rotors).

      Optional software

Set of functions that allow the operator to display useful and ancillary information in addition to the classic indication of imbalance and phase.

      The best supplied are:

      • Assisted balancing tools (milling, drilling, adding counterweights)
      • Analysis tools (such as FFT or 2F program, useful for flexible rotaries)
      • statistics tool
      • traceability tool

      Rotating ISO

Rotating in accordance with ISO standards for the management and certification of balancing processes.

      Motorized media translation

System that allows motorized translation of supports on the pallet. Useful for frequent production changes and precise positioning of supports.

      Arrow detector

An instrument that measures rotor deflection at certain speeds to verify that any deflections are within set tolerance limits.

      High Speed (HS) Configuration

This option allows for higher launch speeds, so it is useful in balancing flexible rotaries that need to be balanced at service speed.
