Single-station balancer for brake discs and drums

CEMB’s compact automatic balancing machine handles brake discs and drums up to 200 kg with hydraulic or pneumatic locking, high rigidity rotary table and unbalance correction by milling.

Features

  • Designed for large-scale production: handles brake discs and drums up to 200 kg.
  • Hydraulic or pneumatic clamping system and high rigidity rotary table with machine tool cutting speed for high production volumes.
  • Automatic imbalance correction by milling with dedicated programs for discs with high imbalances and possibility of contiguous correction arcs.
  • The machine integrates an automatic cutter wear control ensuring balanced quality and process safety at all times.
  • Compatibility with various materials, with precise milling capabilities on both traditional cast iron brake discs and high-performance carboceramic discs.
  • Machine prepared for connection with supervisory and production management systems. It integrates data exchange logic with MES platforms, enabling real-time tracking and monitoring.
  • Possibility of interfacing with automatic loading/unloading systems, either through built-in internal loader or external robots.
  • Remote assistance and local support available worldwide.

      Locking tools

Automatic clamping systems to mount the part on the balancing machine. These systems ensure perfect centering, easy assembly/disassembly, and safety during the measuring launch.

      Electronic index

Electronic system that identifies specific rotor reference points to allow correction in specific areas or take into account systematic workpiece imbalance.

      Data matrix reader

Manual or automatic data matrix code reading system for part traceability.

      Tool wear control

Automatic tool wear detection system in the case of drilling and milling, which ensures maximum efficiency and safety, avoiding machining with unsuitable tools.

      Production control with reference piece

Cyclic production control system using part reference, which verifies the quality and repeatability of the production process.

      Automatic change over

Automatic handling for fast and accurate production changeover as an alternative to a manual operator setup.

      Micropercussion marking

Mechanical engraving device that uses a micro-percussion punch to impress a sequence of dots on the surface of the rotor.
