Horizontal balancing machine for compressors and energy turbines

CEMB’s automatic horizontal-axis balancer is designed for balancing stages, turbines, and complete compressors. Correction is accomplished by two belt sanders that remove material from the outer surface of the parts.

Features

  • Horizontal solution used to balance complete turbine and compressor assemblies in addition to single large impellers of pumps (or individual stages), impellers, and turbines.
  • Fully automatic balancing cycle.
  • Correction is done by two belt sanders that remove material from the outer surface of the parts.
  • Complete with intelligent matching system to perfectly track the profile even with small or discontinuous radii.
  • Blurring function to prevent stepping at the beginning and end of the correction section.
  • Self-tuning removal system that adjusts cutting parameters in real time to optimize corrective power.
  • Extraction of dust for greater operator safety.

      Additional equipment

      • Inverted roller equipment: constructed so that the rollers work above the rolling diameter, suitable for rotors with impellers unbalanced with respect to the shaft.
      • Cantilever fixtures: rollers mounted on spacers that allow parts without shafts, with very short shafts or large diameter tubes to be balanced.
      • V-equipment: used in specific cases where the workpiece is balanced using service bearings or to process very small diameters.
      • Flanged equipment: typically used to process drive shafts
      • Non-magnetic equipment: useful where the part is magnetic (example: electric motor rotors).

      Motorized media translation

System that allows motorized translation of supports on the pallet. Useful for frequent production changes and precise positioning of supports.

      Data matrix reader

Manual or automatic data matrix code reading system for part traceability.
